I've been a business consultant and owned many of my own companies since 1978. During that time I have worked with over 1,000 companies and thousands of individuals, managers, salespeople and staff. One thing I noticed over the last 45 years is companies are generally divided into two groups; those that are trying to survive and become viable, and those that ARE viable now, and want to grow and expand their business.
